A sample from a Marriage Ceremony  written for Suzanne and Steve:
"When I first met Susanne and Steve I was moved by their story of how they met, and although I'm sure you know how it all began, let me just tell you in a few words this little tale. Driven by destiny, something in Susanne and Steve chose to be at the right place at the right time. They both came from different backgrounds and countries far away to the beautiful island of Crete in Greece.

One warm summer night they met in a little bar in Matala, not consciously knowing that one day they would stand here together to make this commitment.

They said good-bye many times, but when fate plays the hand, what we think is -- isn't.

So the all knowing and loving universe brought them together again and again. Five times more they were to meet by chance traveling through Europe until Steve and Susanne could not help but hear their hearts calling to each other Susanne and Steve finally listened to their hearts and made it their goal to be together. They both embarked on unknown paths to fulfill their hearts' desire; at times leaving family and friends behind, but also finding news friends and family and learning to become a couple that belongs together.

Susanne and Steve have now chosen to celebrate with you, dear family and friends, not only their discovery of love but their commitment to always follow their hearts and be forever together in marriage."
