Dr. Ruth Jones runs a chelation and wellness center in Bedford, Pennsylvania, about 4 hours from where I live.
She agreed to take off a day to join a group of us attending Gary Young’s talk on hormonal balance and liver cleansing.
Dr. Jones told me the reason she was curious is that she has a client who had Lymphoma and opted to go to the
Young Living Clinic several years before where the essential oils are part of the protocol. That was four years ago
and the client has been cancer free since. Gary Young is the founder of Young Living Essential Oils,
a therapeutic grade organic line of products.
There we were attentively and happily taking notes while Gary carefully explained to the enlightened and unenlightened,
the professional healers and the lay people, what it takes to lengthen life. Having met his 58 year old wife a few months ago,
when she was six months pregnant - that’s right folks, and they have a four year old, I believe him. Mary Young has the
look and feel of a 35 year old. According to Gary’s talk, Mary does test out hormonally as a 35 year old! Yes, she delivered
her child at home, yes they are both very healthy, as is their son. Yes, I follow the protocol having wonderfully regained
vitality I thought I lost. I use it on animals and people whenever they are open to healing options.
The night was over and we decided to attend the next days’ business seminar just to hear Gary’s comments. Since he now owns
the largest plant farms in the world, and talks more about healing and spirituality with an authenticity that is heartwarming
we decided it was worth listening.
Before Gary spoke, Jeffrey Lewis, from Montclair, NJ, introduced Nina Tam to the audience. He introduced her as a woman who
has become very successful as a network marketer in the company. At least that was the lead in.
Nina, a soft spoken woman from Huntington Station, Long Island talked about her use of oils. She asked Tony Chin to stand up.
A man in the audience, what we commonly call a hunk, stood and happily waved to us all. A glowing picture of health, muscular,
strong looking and not a sign of what he had been through.
“Tony was diagnosed last October with nasal pharyngeal cancer,” Nina stated.
Dr. Ruth Jones gasped, “There are no known effective treatments for neck or head cancers. How did he survive?”
Nina continued, “Tony came to me Christmas Eve in the middle of his chemo and radiation treatments with no where to go and
in excruciating pain. Morphine could no longer stop the pain. A few weeks later, after he came to stay with me,
he asked me for healing help. We began using the oils and some Chinese salves I made. Today he is cancer free.
His wounds have healed, the feeding tube is gone and he can eat.”
Nina quietly sat down while most of us tried to close our gaping mouths and look inside our hearts and minds at the wonder she just revealed.
I called Nina Tam for an interview, hoping to share with all who read CONSCIOUS LIVING and many of my clients who
willingly do whatever it takes to gain health and longevity.
Nina’s knowledge of traditional chinese medicine came through generations of family wisdom. She grew up making the tonics and salves,
extracting oils from the plants for healing. She is a Healer, ordained minister, certified Reiki master,
Doctor of Alternative Healing through the Albert University and runs a Kung Fu Academy in Huntington, L.I., N.Y.
When Nina learned of Young Living Oils she began using them in her practice believing them to be of high quality and
easier than spending hours cooking up what she needed.

Nina asked and I gratefully listened.
After 2 bags of chemo, Tony quit the chemo and continued the radiation. One day he broke down crying and asked Nina to help him,
use the oils, whatever, he couldn’t stand the treatment any more. At that time Tony had a feeding tube,
open, deep and infected wounds in his nose and mouth, couldn’t swallow and had lost a tremendous amount of weight.
Cancer produces enormous amounts of mucous in the body and according to Nina Tam, chemotherapy and radiation produce a lot more mucous.
Many cancer patients are told to drink Ensure - this too increases mucous. There are many healthier protein shakes, not pre-made,
in the market place that won’t produce mucous.
Tony lost a lot of iron so Nina made duck’s blood - cooked or pork’s blood, boiled with mustard green and Ningxia Red juice
and essential oils (from Young Living) in the feeding tube. This was to normalize the red blood cells.
To kick start the body Nina made soups with neck bones, ox tails and mustard greens.
She fed this through the feeding tube throughout the days and weeks.
Nina added her anti tumor formula to the soup recipe:
3 bottles of Frankincense - 3 bottles of Myrrh
1 bottle each of Helychrysum
9 bottles of Tsuga
2 bottles of Rose
2 bottles of Melissa
NIngxia Red juice
2 bottles of Ledum - this and Goldenrod thins out the mucus
6 bottles of goldenrod
1 K& B - a tincture from Young Living for the Kidneys and Bladder
Chelex - remove metals from radiation - another compound from Young Living
Her protocol also included:

Q2 machine - hydrotherapy machine
Hulda Clark’s zapper
For the radiation burns - Young Living’s St. Marie’s Lavender, Helychrysum and a chinese salve she made.
For the Candida and Thrush he developed from the previous treatment Nina used Young Living Thieves - mouthwash to gargle twice a day.
Sandalwood (on nasal passages and around the eyes for focus) - Spikenard for fogginess in the brain because of amount of mucous.
Tony took baths made of a pound of baking soda and kosher salt and hot water - he soaked in as hot a temperature as
he could tolerate to heal the acidic treatment of radiation. According to Nina Tam, the treatments with oils were
encapsulating the tumors and alkalyzing the body, a prerequisite for ridding the body of cancer.
She added Essiac Tea bought at the health food store. This helped bring out the tumors. Tony began blowing them out
through the nose and coughing them out. Tony also drinks 8 to 10 ounces of Ningxia Red juice daily.
For the sores in his mouth she applied Helychrysum oil the Rose Ointment from Young Living.
With a Hepa filter Nina diffuses the oils - pure cotton ball - oil in each one - several at once -
Eucalyptus Radiata, Eucalyptus Dives, Eucalyptus Globulus, Melaleuca Alternifolia and Melaleuca Ericifolia.
Tony willingly and gratefully accepted the treatments. As he did so he saw not only his physical health returning
but also a clearer and healthier emotional, mental and spiritual internal world. Tony continues to heal and
continues a less stringent protocol, keeping in mind the prerequisites for healing cancer.
He is mindful of eating more alkaline and more acid binding foods to rid the body of acid build up.
Tony and Nina teamed up for the formula for a miracle and with the blessing of the divine light within all,
Tony’s life is becoming healthier than it has ever been!

and other juices high in anti-oxidants. One ounce a day plain or mixed with water is enough to boost
an immune system and offer energy to tired systems. After one week on it, I started increasing my daily walk
from one mile to 3 ½ miles without tiring.

***Cancer can continue to mutate, seeming to know what it takes to be the winner. Science News in 2002 reported
that after the first round of cancer if any cancer cells are left, even one, that one cancer cell seems to know how
to teach any new cancer cells how to fight off the chemo. You need to be a step ahead of the cancer cells and outsmart them.
A client of mine finished his chemo treatment of Pancreatic Cancer and was sent home with the tumor shrunk in half
but same prognosis. He put one drop of Frankincense on the skin over the pancreas and had a 103 degree fever.
I rejoiced and explained cancer cells cannot live in high heat. One drop a day and his tumor shrank 20% in two weeks.
His doctor is happily open minded and quite impressed.
