What is Hepatitis B?
Hepatitis B is inflammation (irritation and swelling) of the liver due to the
hepatitis B virus (HBV). The hepatitis B virus spreads through blood, semen, vaginal fluids,
and other body fluids. Acute hepatitis B usually goes away by itself and does not require
medical treatment. If very severe, symptoms such as vomiting or diarrhea may require
treatment to restore fluids and electrolytes.
There are no medications that can prevent acute hepatitis B from becoming chronic.
Acute hepatitis B infection
The most severe effect of acute hepatitis B is dehydration from vomiting and diarrhea.
Use DiGize to control the vomiting and diarrhea.
Symptoms
Many people who have chronic hepatitis B have few or no symptoms.
They may not even look sick. As a result, they may not know they are
infected.
However, they can still spread the virus to other people.
Symptoms may not appear for up to 6 months after the time of infection.
Early symptoms may include:
Appetite loss
Fatigue
Low-grade fever
Muscle and joint aches
A yellow tint to the skin and whites of the eyes (jaundice)
Nausea, vomiting
Dark, tea colored urine
Rash
Pain or tenderness in the area of the liver (the upper-right side of the abdomen near the lower-front ribs)
People with chronic hepatitis may have no symptoms, even though gradual
liver damage may be occurring.
They may have some or all of the symptoms of acute hepatitis.
Hepatitis B infections may be acute or chronic.
Acute hepatitis B is the 3 - 6 month period after becoming infected.
Chronic hepatitis B is when the hepatitis B virus remains in a person's body.
These people are considered to be carriers of hepatitis B, even if they do not have any symptoms.
Most of the damage from the hepatitis B virus is due to the body's response to the infection.
When the body's immune system detects the infection, it sends out special cells to fight it off.
However, these disease-fighting cells can lead to liver inflammation.
You should get plenty of bed rest, drink plenty of fluids, and eat healthy foods.
What is hepatitis C?
Hepatitis C is a liver disease. Hepatitis means inflammation of the liver.
Inflammation is the painful, red swelling that results when tissues of the
body become injured or infected. Inflammation can cause organs to not
work properly.
Symptoms
Many people who are infected with hepatitis C do not have symptoms.
If the infection has been present for many years, the liver may be permanently
scarred, a condition called cirrhosis. In many cases, there may be no symptoms
of the disease until cirrhosis has developed. The following symptoms could occur
with hepatitis C infection:
Abdominal pain (right upper abdomen)
Ascites
Bleeding varices (dilated veins in the esophagus)
Dark urine
Fatigue
Generalized itching
Jaundice
Loss of appetite
Low-grade fever
Nausea
Pale or clay-colored stools
Vomiting
Hepatitis C has an acute and chronic form. Most people who are infected with
the virus develop chronic hepatitis C.

When it calls for JuvaCleanse take this word of caution when using it.
(When you start with the JuvaCleanse start out with 4 drops in cap and work
up. If your liver is very toxic, then when you put JuvaCleanse or GLF in a cap.
the toxins could start moving to fast and make you very sick. You need to listen
to your body and if it is to harsh when you take 1 capsule full then you need to
drop back on the amount of drops in a capsule. You may become nausa and
vomit but that is okay because it is cleaning the liver. You just don't want it to
become so harsh that you are vomiting real hard.)
1 capsule full of JuvaCleanse (approx 20 drops) for 10 days.

Hepatitis:
Viral hepatitis is a serious, life-threatening disease of the liver which
results in scarring (cirrhosis) and eventual organ destruction and death.
There are several different kinds of hepatitis: Hepatitis A (spread by
contaminated food, water, or feces), and Hepatitis B and C (spread
by contaminated blood or semen).
A 2003 study conducted by Dr. Roger Lewis MD at the Young Life Research
Clinic when it was set up in Provo, Ut. evaluated the efficacy of helichrysum,
ledum, and celery seed in treating cases of advanced Hepatitis C. In one case
of a male age 20 diagnosed with a hepatitis C had a viral count of 13,200. After
taking two capsules (approx. 750 mg each) of a blend of helichrysum, ledum, and
celery seed, (JuvaCleanse), per day for a month with no other intervention,
patients showed that viral count dropped more than 80% to 2,580.
Symptoms include:
Jaundice, weakness, loss of appetite, nausea, brownish
or tea colored urine, abdominal discomfort,
fever and whitish bowel movement.
First Recommendations:
Milk thistle extract, JuvaCleanse, German chamomile, (also cleansing with ICP/ComforTone/Essentialzyme).
Single Oils:
ledum, celery seed, ravensara, peppermint, thyme, clove, helichrysum, myrrh, wintergreen
Blends:
JuvaFlex, GLF, Di-Gize, ImmuPower, Thieves, Release, Exodus II, PanAway
EO Application--Ingestion:
Capsule 0 size, 3 times daily
Rice Milk 2-4 times daily
Topical:
Dilute 50-50 apply 1-3 drops on carotid arteries (on right and left side
of throat just under jaw bone one either side),2-5 times daily. (Carotid
arteries are an excellent place to apply oils for fast absorption).
Compress:
Warm, over liver 1-2 time daily (warm water with oils in and wash
cloth on top to soak up the oils and squeeze the water out and apply
over liver with a heavy towel on top)
Vita Flex:
Massage 1-3 drops on liver, Vita Flex liver point on right foot 1-3 times daily
Raindrop:
Application 1-2 times weekly
Dietary Supplementation:
JuvaPower/Spice, MultiGreen, JuvaTone, ImmuPro, ImmuneTune, Super C,
Longivity, Digest & Cleanse,Sulfurzyme, Life 5, Dried wolfberries, True
Source Multivitamins
Note: Avoid citrus juices like grapefruit juice and any medications that
stress the liver.
Daily Hepatitis regimen:
* Begin with colon and liver cleanse using the Cleansing Trio.
After 3 days add JuvaTone, 1-2 tablets 3 times a day.
*ImmuPro: Chew 4 tablets at night 1-2 tablets morning and afternoon.
*MultiGreen: 1-3 capsules, 3 times daily according to blood type.
*True Source: 1 packet 2-3 times daily
********************************************
Vital Life Juice
3 oz beet
1 oz. celery
1 oz carrot
1/3 oz white radish
1/8 oz ginger
1/3 oz red potato
This helps to cleanse and support the liver
********************************************
How to Protect your Liver:
1. Use supplements such as schizandra, milk thistle, and N-acetyl cysteine
2. Avoid alcoholic beverages
3. Avoid unnecessary use of prescription drugs. Even some common over-the-counter pain relievers can have toxic effects
on the liver in moderately high doses.
4. Consume a diet high in selenium
5. Avoid mixing pharmaceutic drugs. Be especially cautious in mixing prescription drugs with alcohol.
6. Avoid exposure to industrial chemicals whenever possible.
7. Eat a healthy diet.
8. The Chinese wolfberry (NingXia Variety) is widely used in China as a liver tonic and detoxifier.
Testimonies:
I've heard Gary Young say Juvatone is good for helping the liver regenerate.
Powermeal and eating an alkaline diet with no meat is also recommended.
He said that as long as a person is alive, the liver has the capacity to regenerate.
That's good news. Don't forget NingXia Red.
There's a great website that has lots of info on Hep C.
Its www.hepatitis-c.de/pace.htm

HEPATITIS C
I am reading a Research report on Hepatitis C.
It states that Hepatitis C is a virus, that fewer than one third of the patients with chronic Hepatitis C respond to the
"standard" treatment with interferon and other antivirals ( which can cost $16,000 to $17,000 per year).
This research report states one particular patient who did not know she had Hepatitis C for the first 5 years, who then became
aware of her condition and tried to intervene for two years....
developed a mass in her liver, was told it was probably liver cancer and that there was no hope for a cure.
She was started on an alternative treatment and no longer has it.
This is what was used. It is called a triple anti-oxidant therapy.
It incorporates three of the most potent anti oxidents:
Alpha lipoic acid, silymarin and selenium.
This particular patient was told she only had months to live.
She began this protocol in March of 1998, and one year later....she shows NO active signs of Hepatitis C.
Lipoic Acid has been used for over 20 years. It has been used when people have eaten the poisonious mushroom Amanita....which
causes death in 60 - 90 percent of all people who accidentally ingest them.
Silymarin is from the milk thistle. and Selenium is a mineral that has very powerful antioxidant properties in the celluar
membranes.
Here is the protocol:
600 mg. lipoic acid
900 mg. silymarin (milk thistle extract)
400 mcg. selenium daily....in two to three divided doses.
Other nutrients that are helpful to the support of the liver are:
2,500 mg of Vitamin C
800 units of Vitamin E
300 mg. of CoEnzymeQ10
If one has Hepatitis C, it is reported that one should avoid alcohol, caffeine, and Tylenol.
Try to eat only organic food when possible and try to drink plenty of pure filtered water to help flush
toxins.
Perhaps we could use known helpful Therapeutic Essential Oils and add some of these things.
Hope this helps,
Margaret

HEPATITIS C
I have a distributor with Hepatitis C who is using Ledium, JuvaTone, and RavenSara but it is too soon yet for a testimonial. Dr. Young said at a convention that Ledium was a powerful liver detoxifier. He was taking it himself in a capsule. 2001 (Now in 2006 Gary has formulated JuvaCleanse and GLF with Ledium that works great on the liver. You don't have to take Ledium alone. Use JuvaCleanse or GLF for liver problems).

HEPATITIS C
I have been working on myself and others that have Hepatitis C
with tremendous results. One thing very important is to
clean up the diet. The liver is the filter, so avoid sugar, fatty food,
alcohol, pesticides, meat, and all processed foods. Stay with natural
foods and organic whenever possible.
I've been using the following oils for a couple years: JuvaFlex,
Immupower, Rosemary Verbanon,and Release.
I use these over my liver and on the liver points on my foot and hand.
Supplements are very important to get the immune system in great
working order. Milk thistle is essential to help protect the liver.
===================================================
Meditation is also helpful, using a
technique to clean the virus out of his system.
I've been able to lower my viral load by 80%
using the above practices!!
And others have also had very good success lowering
the liver enzymes as well as the viral load. Working with an educated MD
and a local support group is a big help. He can get this under control.
Love and Blessings,
Alana

Cleansing
You probably already heard of the JuvaTone, Juva
Flex for liver ailments. I add something else here: There is a book by a Sandra
Cabot, an Australian MD, who wrote a book called "The Liver Cleansing
Book -Love Your Liver and Live Longer". I found it on the shelf of B. Dalton
book store recently. Dr. Cabot has a liver rejuvenating diet with great
recipes in it and much good advise. I highly recommend that your friend
gets this book. (cost about $20,--)
Dr. Cabot mentiones Hep.C in the book and states
that most doctors simply do not emphasize diet enough. She feels
that almost all liver problems can be reversed by using a proper diet.
Now the question is: will your friend be willing to
release all anger and negativity and declare Forgiveness, Release, Hope
and Acceptance of his blessings while embracing such a diet?
(Notice the essential oil blends here?)

===================================================
EXPLANATION
I thought I bungled that explanation. You are right the oils Do go through
all the tissues when applied externally. However, the oils that are applied
to the feet are not ingested and bypass the changes during digestion and
metabolism. Sounds to me like they are transformed from an oil state to
a water soluble state then eliminated through the urinary system. Let me
use The dr's words because I am bungling it.
According to Kurt Schnaubelt, chemist, Ph.D.. In
Advanced Aromatherapy. When taken orally, the
greater part of eo;s is absorbed by the mouth or throat, the
esophagus, the stomach, or the duodenum and the
small intestine as the oils travel along the digestive path. From there,
eo's travel to theliver, where they are metabolized, meaning they are
chemically linked to other molecules. They arethereby transformed into a
water soluble state tobe processed and eliminated by the metabolism.
This means their lipophilic qualities are lost and effects tied to the lipophilic
Character of oils are no longer present. Research
and experience have shown, however, that ingested
oils still have very potent effects in the
urogenital tract. Therefore, taking essential oils orally makes the
most sense When we want them to interact with the
liver or kidneys.
But eo's molecules, which are very small and highly
lipophilic, penetrate tissue more readily,
independent of how the oil is applied. Using essential oils by
rubbing them into the skin or via inhalation is in many cases is much
more effective than oral delivery.
Essential oils can be taken in gelatin capsules or,
more conveniently, taken with honey or sugar.
Especially useful are peppermint
and thyme oils because of their liver supporting
qualities and tea tree oil because of its antiseptic nature.
Essential oils have excellent diffusive
capabilities. Rubbing or massaging an eo directly
into the skin over an organ or area in need of
treatment will provide a very high concentration of
oil in the desired location. Because oils have the ability to
penetrate tissue very quickly and enter the capillaries, this
ensures distribution throughout the body.
An especially effective form of essential oil
application is to massage the oil into the soles of
the feet. With this application, immediate absorption into
the liver, as is the case when oils are ingested is prevented,
and therefore the immediate processing (linking to other
molecules, making oilmolecules hydrophilic) in the
liver is also avoided. In this fashion eo's
Reach the lower bronchial capillaries and via the
Heart/lung/circulatory system, the whole organism
unprocessed, in their original state.
Because thyme and oregano oils cannot be used in the
regular topical mode, massaging these oils into the
soles of the feet is especially useful for small
children. Applied via the feet, thyme and
oregano oils turn out to be well tolerated and
highly effective.
The use of suppositories is well established in
french Aromamedicine. When oils penetrate the tissue
around the rectum, they are absorbed in the veins, by
passing the liver, and are consequently fed into
the heart lung circulatory system and from there
into the circulatory system.
Electrical diffusors are suitable for inhaling
essential oils. One session normally lasts between
10 and 15 min. For respiratory Conditions it is often very
effective to leave the diffuser on overnight in
the bedroom at the lowest setting.
I think what he is saying is that if the liver or
kidneys or any part of the digestive or urinary
tract, (kidneys, ureter, bladder) is the
organ of need then oral mode of application delivers
the most potent dose to those organs.
And if those are not the targeted areas then topical
application allows the oils to travel through all the organs.
It is like the concept of the estrogen patches. They are supposedly better because
they enter the body through the skin ,like eo's , and are not changed by the metabolism
of the digestive tract, mainly the liver. The oils will reach all organs when applied
to the skin , mainly the feet or over the area of interest. Make more sense?
And prayers, Connie

LIVER
Hope this is of some help to those who have asked.
Foundation of problem is physically in the digestive
system.
Use Cleansing Trio for 3 to 4 weeks then continue
with JuvaTone. Dr. Young said to "ramp" the JuvaTone and
Essentialzyme. Said to check Essential Oil Desk
Reference for "ramping".
Rehemogen, 4 drops, 3 x a day.
Master Formula - use according to Essential Oil Desk
Reference for blood
type. Put 20 drops of JuvaCleanse in a capsule and take 1
x daily for 10 days on and 10 days off.
I don't know if my notes are complete. There is a
listing in the Essential Oil Desk Reference for
Hepatitis too.
What may not be in the EODR, because of the newness
of the product are JuvaCleanse.
Ramping has to do with taking supplements in
varying amounts and building on that
amount to a certain point. I don't have my EODR
with me, but it seems like it was in a box on the
page having to do with Liver.
I hope this helps and also that if someone else has
what may be more complete notes, they will post. I
DO remember that Dr. Young stated that Ledum was a
VERY important oil for liver regeneration as well as
cancers, not necessarily of the liver. He also said
that this protocol would need to be followed for as
long as a year.
Blessings
Francie

Notes From Gary Young lecture
Subject: [Essoil] Hepatitis C - Liver Regeneration
Per Notes From The Farm
Convention 2000
I just found my notes from that evening out at the farm when
Gary was answering questions in general. Hope this helps!
Lynn
Here's what I got in my notes: Cleansing Trio ! ! ! (This is the foundation.
Always start 1 week moving into 3 wks at a time).
Then begin to include JuvaTone and Essentialzyme.
Then begin to include ImmuPro (Hepatitis),
Rehemogen (4 droppers in water 3 times daily) Cleanses the blood,
Master Formula.
Then add to this JuvaCleanse: 1 capsule full (approx 20 drops) for 10 days.
(When you start with the JuvaCleanse start out with 4 drops in cap and work
up. You need to listen to yur body and if it is to harsh drop back on the amount
of drops in a capsule. You will become nausa and votimit but that is okay because
it is cleaning the liver. You just don't want it to become so harsh that you are
vomiting real hard.)
Rest 10 days.
On 10 days.
Rest 10 days.
On 10 days.
This is a 60 - 90 day process (as best as I can read these notes!).

Survivor
Liver - Hepatitis C
I have a nurse friend who was told by five liver specialists that she had
weeks to live after 16 years of daily pharmaceutical and any street drugs
etc. The hospital could detect no liver function and questioned how she was
alive. 11 years later, her liver can handle almost almost everything
(except Starbucks coffee)
Before starting a liver cleanse, cleanse the bowel to ensure the toxicity
coming from the liver has a clear channel 'out'. The protocol includes:
Cleansing Trio (of Comfortone, Essentialzyme, and ICP) for 1 week,
4 Life 5 a day -therapeutic naturopathic quality, Master Formula
vitamins designed specifically for male or female.
MultiGreen each day, NingXia Red, Super C 3xday, then JuvaTone is added on
the third day. Alternate therapeutic organic oils on the spine and compress over
liver area and apply To Vita Flex points on the feet.
Use Immupower (on the spine and liver) Myrrh, JuvaFlex (on the
liver),Ravensara, Release (on feet and liver)
And Rosemary. Ensure organic as you do not want any chemicals
added to an already toxic environment. Daily Wheat Grass juice will
assist with 'live' food support.

Don't expect the same results unless you are using Young Living Therapeutic
Grade essential oils and supplements. Also each person is different so they
may not work as well for you as it does for others
so try another oil or supplement that would work better for you.
Essential oil testimonials are an effective way of learning and sharing. With this
knowledge, we can take control of our own personal health. However, we are

Therapeutic grade oils from Young Living are different from any sold in stores. They are far more intense with
higher healing properties than the ones we purchase in candles, soaps, etc. In this case, quality does cost more.
They are also higher potency than any others I have found world wide.
The Young Living Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils are the only ones my family, friends and clients
have obtained results with such as found in these true healing stories.
