Psoriasis Stories¬

My Psoriasis Testimony
As a wife and mother of 4, my concerns are constantly focused on my family's health¬ - helping us to eat healthier and healthier, addressing everyone's health issues¬ with our YL essential oils, supplements and nutrition and making sure to build healthy¬ immune systems. But, unfortunately, my own health issues often get pushed aside.¬ It's not that I don't want to be as healthy as I can be, it is just too easy to¬ set aside those things that are not on the EMERGENCY list. :)

One of my lingering health issues that I have had all of my life is psoriasis, which¬ I know is a very complex issue encompassing diet, enzymes, candida, digestive health¬ and even emotional health. But if anything, I have been trying to first deal with¬ my more serious digestive and colon health issues (major constipation due to a very¬ sickly childhood with TONS of antibiotics leading to a torn down digestive system¬ and weak immune system), which, thankfully, have GREATLY improved due to NingXia¬ Red, improving my diet, cleansing, supplementing with Core Complete (True Source¬ whole food multi-vitamins, Omega Blue, Longevity and Life 5 probiotic) and daily¬ intake of essential oils (various essential oils such as Thieves, Frankincense,¬ Oregano, Citrus Fresh, Idaho Balsam Fir, Copaiba, Ocotea, and others).

The only direct things that I have done to address the psoriasis, which has been¬ on my scalp, elbows, hands and feet, is FIRST to get rid of ALL of the toxins in¬ my house that I used to put on my skin from my personal care products to household¬ cleaners. We ONLY use the Young Living toothpastes, soaps, shower gels, shampoos¬ and conditioners and Thieves household cleaner... which I could go on and on about¬ the importance of not only getting the toxins OUT of the house, but getting the¬ Young Living essential oils IN and ON the body as much as possible for optimal health!¬ :) I also started using the Lavender shampoo and conditioner to keep my scalp from¬ itching so much and Regenolone lotion for my elbows, hands and feet for a while¬ and then, when I ran out, I just used the Genesis Hand and Body Lotion, which would¬ only soften the patches for most of the day.

Over the past 3 1/2 years, I have found the psoriasis to ease up a bit ever so slightly¬ around my body, which I definitely contribute to the diet changes and the cleansing.¬ BUT last spring (short sleeve and shorts weather) I started using the new Lavender¬ lotion. I wasn't using it to try to clear up the psoriasis... just to keep the yucky¬ grey, dry, scaly, cracking (and even bleeding) patches on my elbows, hands and feet¬ moisturized during the day so as not to look so obvious.

BUT after about a month or two of using the Lavender lotion, I realized the patch¬ on my left elbow (the worst one) was TOTALLY gone!!! And so were the patches on¬ my hands and feet!!! Praise the Lord!!!

So now, all I have are a few small patches left on my scalp! And I know that those¬ will eventually be gone as well as I continue to eat healthier, drink my NingXia¬ Red and take my supplements, enzymes and essential oils. And of course, I will continue¬ to use the Lavender lotion, Lavender body wash and Lavender shampoo and conditioner.
